Here at Global Happy Vibes, we’re a small team with backgrounds in both biological sciences and psychology, which gives us a unique perspective on what really supports happiness and well-being. Our work stems from genuine curiosity and a deep care for helping others feel better in all ways: mentally, emotionally, and physically. Simply put, our goal is to research and share different ways people can maintain and increase happiness in their everyday lives.
This project was started after we found ourselves constantly drawn to happiness studies and social psychology research. The more we learned, the more it felt like it was something worth sharing under one happiness hub. With depression rates climbing higher than ever, especially post-COVID-19 pandemic, it became clear that many of us are struggling and that even small shifts in lifestyle might make a large difference!
We fully acknowledge that clinical depression and anxiety are serious conditions and oftentimes require professional care. What we offer here at Global Happy Vibes isn’t intended to be a cure; it’s intended to be support. We focus on things that empirical research has shown can help boost happiness for most of us: mindfulness techniques, creative hobbies, adjustments to your physical space, movement and exercise, and healthy, nourishing recipes that fuel your body and brain.
Our approach is both science-informed and deeply human. We believe that happiness isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Small adjustments to your lifestyle, such as incorporating even one new exercise, new healthy recipe, or new habit, all add up in the long run!
